Smart money on Tuesday docos

Ratings: Against lighter fare ABC & SBS docos draw a crowd, but in the end Nine took Tuesday night.

Unless you were into serious documentaries, Tuesday was a fairly uneventful night of television.

SBS also drew 449,000 for Who Do You Think You Are? with David Wenham at 7:30pm -not enough to knock off any of the competition but a good number by network standards.

On SBS it was Who Do You Think You Are? was strong (449,000) then Insight (222,000), Dateline (180,000) and SBS World News (151,000).

ABC2’s Shaun the Sheep (257,000) led multichannels.

    1. Yes well, a double episode that started at 9.30pm – I recorded it and I bet a lot of others did the same. BTW it would help if Seven fixed their EPG…it’s not been updating start and finish times for days.

  1. Tuesday nights are always shocking on the commercial networks, so it’s no wonder that doco-type programs do well. I don’t know why, but Tuesdays have nearly always been crap television.

    1. H&A numbers going up might have something to do with Ed Sheeran as guest star storyline airing soon. Also recent announcement of Steve Peacocke (Brax) returning?
