Essie Davis has landed a role in Game of Thrones.
Davis, whose credits include Miss Fisher’s Murder Mysteries, The Slap and The Babadook, doesn’t appear to have a principal role, but plays “an elegant actress with a traveling theatre company.”
The character is a “fun, charismatic, rum-drinking actress in the troupe,” -a role she will doubtless carry off with aplomb.
Davis was spotted in filming of Season 6 taking place around Girona, Spain, this week.

Well done Miss Fisher …. Season 6 is that wondrous time when even the people who have read the ‘Game of Thrones’ Books don’t even know what will happen next. Now there is another reason to look forward to the next 10 episodes. (I’d still have rather been a Stark Family member than a Lannister.)
