This week on Who Do You Think You Are? Peter Rowsthorn discovers not one but two ancestors with a convict past.
Actor and comedian Peter Rowsthorn (best known as Brett Craig in the hit series Kath & Kim) turns his attention towards his early Australian family, and much to his delight, discovers not one, but two convicts in his family tree. Peter sets out to unearth what crimes his ancestors had committed to get them sent to the penal colony.
Then, a long held family secret is revealed with Peter discovering a grandfather he never knew – and finding hand-written notes written before his mysterious death. The new connection to his grandfather sees Peter pondering whether to change his surname to better reflect his real heritage.
Tuesday, 8 September at 7.30pm on SBS.

Peter Rowsthorn was very funny on Kath and Kim. When is Greig Pickhaver (HG Nelson)’s episode?
Next week.
