Downton Abbey fends off heated competition on a big viewing day in the UK (no spoilers).

Christmas is traditionally a big viewing day in the UK and there are bragging rights to claim

This year was no exception.

Downton Abbey
finally took its leave from screens after 6 seasons, pulling 6.5m viewers, just ahead of Strictly Come Dancing.

  2. I notice an article in The Age this morning that gives away virtually everything that happened. No mention of spoilers ahead. And no mention of who wrote it.

    1. I mentioned in the tv lounge also that news.com.au had something similar. It was the most detailed spoiler article I’ve ever seen on an Australian news site and no spoiler warning there either.

      And the networks wonder why viewers get frustrated when shows get delayed.
