Screen Actors Guild Awards 2016: nominees

Nicole Kidman & Cate Blanchett both nominated for SAG Awards.

Nicole Kidman has been nominated for a Screen Actors Guild Award 2016 for her performance as Princess Grace in the telemovie Grace of Monaco.

She joins Cate Blanchett, in the running for her upcoming film Carol. Last night Blanchett received the the AACTA’s Longford Lyell Award for her contribution to film.

In the television category Game of Thrones, Homeland and House of Cards each scored three nominations.

The 2016 SAG Awards will be held Saturday, Jan. 30, 2016 (US time).

Carol Burnett will receive the SAG Life Achievement Award.
