Seven News Director in Adelaide Terry Plane (pictured) is the latest to go in recent exec changes, after nearly 25 years at the network.
“Graham Archer has been appointed Director of News and Public Affairs, overseeing Adelaide’s No.1 news service and also the top rating Today Tonight, effective immediately,” a statement from Seven Adelaide said.
“Seven’s Network Director of News and Public Affairs Craig McPherson announced the change today.
“Outgoing news director Terry Plane leaves Channel Seven after a highly successful 12-year tenure during which Seven News was firmly established as Adelaide’s leading news bulletin.”
Archer has been a senior producer on Today Tonight.
InDaily suggests his departure may have been due to losing the odd night to Nine last year. “The sacking came after Plane had returned from sick leave,” it notes.

Once again Seven shows just how to reward people who’ve been loyal for years.
We’ve seen it before and we’ll see it again.
