Good news Survivor fans, Season 32 at Kaoh Rong, Cambodia will air from next week.
It is again fast-tracked to 8:40pm Thursday February 18 on GO!, same day as the US.
As with Survivor: Cagayan, the season will feature players divided into three tribes of six based on “Brains,” “Brawn” and “Beauty.”
Interestingly, this season was actually filmed before Survivor: Cambodia which aired last year.
New to this season is the twist that two idols can be combined into an idol that can be played after the votes are read.
Filmed in Kaôh Rōng in Cambodia, the upcoming season is considered the most brutal ever and will feature three tribes of castaways, divided into “Brains” vs. “Brawn” vs. “Beauty” (a theme last seen in Season 28) competing for the million-dollar prize and the title of Sole Survivor.
Survivor: Kaôh Rōng will feature new twists, including a hidden immunity idol twist where two idols can combine to form one super idol that can be played after the votes are read.
The 18 castaways include US Big Brother contestant Caleb “Beast Mode Cowboy” Reynolds and former Boston Celtics NBA player Scot Pollard, plus a bounty hunter, an emergency room doctor, a 19-year-old college student and a 72-year-old former FBI agent.
The castaways will embark on the most gruelling 39 days in Survivor history and test whether brute strength, looks or smarts are the key attribute for capturing the title of Sole Survivor.

Great to see its back.. How strange that they have had this series in the can for almost 12 months.
This sneaked up on me. Didn’t think we get it already! Thanks Go!
Awesome and well done 9 for showing Survivor at a good time once again.
Oh great news, look forward to it. Don’t suppose there’s any word on when 7 will show Amazing Race? It starts on Friday in the US.
7flix says it will have TAR.
Oh great, thanks David.
fantastic news. cant wait
I complained for many years about 9’s treatment of my favourite show, so I feel like I should give them credit for being so consistent with recent seasons. I mean, the live finale last season was my idea of absolute heaven lol I was so happy that day. So thanks Ch9!
The worst one was the season they started the week it ended in the US. I accidentally saw who won at the bottom of an article that had no relation to Survivor.
Yeah all those years of trying to avoid certain websites and stuff for sometimes months. And this only got worse as social media grew, in fact it became pretty much impossible.
Great job GO! This is how you program a multichannel and respect your audience!
Awesome news!!! And I much prefer the 8:30pm time slot, allows me ease in to the evening!!! Hopefully they will do the finale live as well, I can feel a sick day coming up in May already….
