Several Aussie actors have won roles on US projects.

Caitlin Stasey (Reign, Please Like Me, Neighbours) has been cast opposite Natalie Martinez in the APB pilot at FOX. APB comes from David Slack (Person of Interest) and Len Wiseman. The project centres around a tech billionaire buys a failing police precinct after a loved one is murdered.

Stasey (pictured_ has been cast as, “Ada Hamilton, the striking, fiercely intelligent, cynical, and tough head of the team of tech troubleshooters brought in by the billionaire taking over the police precinct.”

Jessica de Gouw (Underground, Underbelly: Razor, The Mystery of a Hansom Cab Arrow, Deadline Gallipoli) as been cast opposite Matt Bomer and Lily Collins in The Last Tycoon.

The Amazon drama pilot is based on F. Scott Fitzgerald’s final unfinished novel, inspired by the life of film mogul Irving Thalberg. She will play Minna Davis, the star of the studio who embodies both the glamour and dream that was Hollywood.

Josh Helman (Mad Max: Fury Road, X-Men: Days of Future Past, Jack Reacher, Animal Kingdom, The Pacific) is joining the second season of Wayward Pines.

He will portray Xander, a confident and charming guy working to undermine Wayward Pines from within. The character has a complicated relationship with the powerful forces in town — both the adults and the so-called First Generation.
