That was fast.
We’re almost back into non-ratings again.
Two weeks of Easter non-ratings begin Sunday March 20, due to Easter falling early this year.
This will see some shows ending within the next two weeks including I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out of Here, Australia’s Got Talent, Wanted and Here Come the Habibs. Some were commissioned with 6 weeks in mind for that very reason.
Some shows are expected to continue over Easter, likely My Kitchen Rules, The Blacklist, Downton Abbey, Bones, Castle but perhaps taking nights off when viewing will be down. TEN will introduce Long Lost Family and All Star Family Feud.
Nine is readying Reno Rumble and You’re Back in the Room for post-Easter. It may finally add The Hunt to the mix.
Seven is also tipped to add The 7 Year Switch on March 15.
Don’t expect Masterchef until a certain other show wraps around the end of April.
Ratings will again resume from April 3 after the two week hiatus.

Going by that list it appears the shows I don’t watch will be absent, while the show I do watch will continue, so I’ll be fine.
I wonder if 7 might double up Bones for those two weeks?
MKR by end of April? That’s ambitious! We’re still in instant restaurants. They’d have to eliminate 2 teams a week to make that happen. More like end of May I reckon.
Those are cheap and nasty-looking eggs. Are they from one of the new multi-channels?
It appears Seven’s “The Chase” has already gone into hiatus – last nights show (4th March’16) was a repeat from a couple of months ago. At least here in Adelaide.
And the lovely Doctor Blake…and maybe Doc Martin too? Despite not being in the demos still rate highly 🙂 loving both shows this season.
