First Dates delivers Wednesday win

Ratings: Nine has a staggered schedule due to Footy Show, and ABC entertainment shows take a dip.

First Dates drew 731,000 viewers last night for Seven, on par with last week’s 735,000 as a decent number for a 9pm show.

Last night Nine had a staggered schedule due to the return of the NRL Footy Show. TEN’s I’m a Celebrity dipped as did ABC entertainment shows.

Wednesday was another comfy with for Seven network with 34.1% then Nine 26.9%, TEN 16.6%, ABC 15.7% and SBS 6.7%.

My Kitchen Rules (1.37m) topped the night for Seven then Seven News (919,000 / 832,000), Home and Away (753,000), First Dates (731,000), The Chase (589,000 / 411,000) and Ramsay’s Hotel Hell (335,000).

Nine News (934,000 / 891,000) led for Nine then A Current Affair (814,000), The Big Bang Theory (784,000 / 653,000) and Hot Seat (535,000). The Footy Show was 253,000 in 2 cities, Movie: Titanic was 191,000 in 2 cities and Movie: Gravity was 50,000 in 1 city.

I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out of Here drew 637,000 for TEN. The Project was 538,000 / 356,000, TEN Eyewitness News was 441,000, Madam Secretary was 424,000 and The Good Wife was 286,000.

ABC News (732,000) led for ABC then 7:30 (646,000), Julia Zemiro’s Home Delivery (528,000), The Weekly with Charlie Pickering (481,000), Black Comedy (276,000), Antiques Roadshow (261,000) and Adam Hills: The Last Leg (238,000).

On SBS it was 24 Hours in Emergency (260,000), Vikings (217,000), Walking Through History (183,000) and SBS World News (108,000).

Shaun the Sheep bleat the multichannel competition with 249,000.
