Jimmy Kimmel to host Emmy Awards 2016

It’s still six months away but late night host Jimmy Kimmel has been confirmed as host of the Emmy Awards for 2016.

“I am hosting the #Emmys on Sunday Sept 18. Until then, have a great summer,” he told his Twitter followers.

Kimmel previously hosted in 2012.

“I am excited to be hosting the Emmys again. I have a feeling I’m going to be great,” he joked.

The 68th Primetime Emmy Awards are due on Sept. 19 in Australia.
