This seems a bit of a waste of a great mini series. It should be on ABC so it gets a wider audience and SBS should concentrate on multicultural offerings. You can see why some folk call for a merger of the 2 networks
This is a great mini-series, really well-written and produced. Coleman is fantastic as always, Hugh Laurie seems to be really enjoying himself as the villain, and Hiddleston and Aussie Debicki were revelations. Tom Hollander was pretty good, too.
Could have been so much better, but seems to be rating well for BBC First.
Why are they waiting so long to show it? This is the internet age – and this article is basically free promotion for people to get online and download/stream this series way before SBS broadcast it
Because Pay TV has the rights for a year. TVT does not endorse piracy.
JB’s website says it’s on DVD/Blu-ray in two weeks if you’re into that kind of thing @DansDans
