    1. Based solely on skin colour? …. Hmmm… Perhaps…. Otherwise I’ll have you know Ray Martin is of Aboriginal decent aswell so they have a small diverse proportion..

  1. yet again, seems like a huge 9-fest. not only quantity wise, but the 9 presenters are the prominent figures that have a current show to promote, whereas most of the reps from opposition networks have minor roles or have finished their show for the year.

  2. Lauren Jackson does not represent Seven. She is a recently retired basketballer who will provide commentary alongside Andrew Gaze for Seven’s coverage of Rio Olympic Games basketball competition.

    1. I added the networks as I think it’s important to show network balance. I could only find one SBS aligned talent. The only programme I could find Lauren Jackson appearing in last year was on Seven (she is also commentating for Rio) so I am comfy.

      1. Given his recent comments, I think I would put Martin down as still representing Nine. Think the only thing he was on SBS last year was “Who Do You Think You Are?” as a subject. Not aware of him being signed to do anything this year but happy to be corrected.

Either way, it’s a poor representation from SBS (I realise some may have said “no” or not been available).

        1. He was very vocal about not being in Nine stable after he left. I suppose given he did the Q&A review last year I could add them (but not on screen). So yes it was WDYTYA? and he is returning to host First Contact.

  3. Why has channel 9 advertising the Logies as ‘live and dangerous’. Has it been moved from crown to Syria entertainment centre or are they all presenting hanging off the side of eureka tower with no safety rope? What a stupid promo!
