Axed music melodrama Nashville is closer to a deal for a fifth season.
Viacom-owned country cable channel CMT has been reported as the likely destination for the series.
Hollywood Reporter speculates the central issue is stacking rights, as CMT, Hulu and Lionsgate TV eyeing a number of different options. Hulu, which already had second-window rights, had been mentioned as a potential exclusive home.
A Nashville revival would be good news for SoHo which would continue to air the show in Australia, produced by Lionsgate.
A formal announcement could come as early as tomorrow during the CMT Awards in the US.
