He’s had a shredder and a shark pool, but tomorrow night Nine political editor Laurie Oakes will oversee losing politicians being put through ‘The Crusher’ and dumped onto a ‘Political Scrapheap’ -all courtesy of Nine’s graphics team.

Nine will also build a virtual Parliament House, with the candidates who win seats.

Nine also indicated, “We’ll also have for the very first time our ‘Election Mega Wall’. This will feature Ben Fordham and Ross Greenwood taking the pulse of the nation…via snap polls through our website… displaying social media posts…an interactive snapshot of what every-day Australians are thinking and how they voted.”

Seven has a Departure Lounge and a Tower of Power this year.

  1. I prob have no sense of humour because I see this as completely unnecessary. I hope Oakes is getting paid double to allow himself to be associated with something as fatuous as this.
