Renewed: Bloodline

TEN more episodes of the Rayburn clan coming to Netflix in 2017.

BLOODLINE

Netflix has ordered a third season of dark family thriller Bloodline.

A ten episode third season starring Kyle Chandler, Sissy Spacek, Ben Mendelsohn, Linda Cardellini, and Norbert Leo Butz will return to Netflix in 2017.

The series about a a family of adult siblings whose secrets and scars are revealed when their black sheep brother (Mendelsohn) returns home is created by Todd A. Kessler, Daniel Zelman and Glenn Kessler and produced by Sony Pictures Television.

Cindy Holland, Vice President of Original Content at Netflix, said, “Todd, Daniel, and Glenn have created a riveting family saga featuring one of the most talented ensembles in the history of television. We can’t wait to see what the next chapter holds for the all-too-human Rayburns.”

The announcement comes despite Florida legislators voting against further incentives for the Film & TV industry, but it isn’t clear if production will remain in the Florida Keys.

  1. wonderful series, season 2 nor quite as good as season 1, it was a huge mistake killing off Ben Mendelsons character, im sure they regret it already. Good to see “the coach” have a darker side too

  2. Great news, I really hope it stays in The Keys though as it is the locale as much as anything that makes the story.
My wife won’t watch this as she can’t bear to see Coach Taylor (FNL) as a baddie. That’s typecasting.
