TV Tonight enters mid-year Hiatus from today.
I have delayed this a little this year, to coincide with the Olympics and thereby minimise any disruption. It just made sense!
Hiatus mode means the site will publish morning posts Monday to Friday. There will be limited posts on weekends.
Please note there will be delays to Comments, Ratings etc. however I will not be writing a daily ratings wrap, given there is such limited competition.
Your patience is appreciated during this time.
As usual there are still feature interviews to come and I endeavour to keep one eye on Breaking News.
Normal site speed will resume once the Games end, on Monday August 22nd.
Cheers, David.

Thanks for all your great work, enjoy your break, you certainly deserve it !
Enjoy the break. I was going to ask you why on Channel Seven’s promos for their “After the Olympics” TV programs for the remainder of the year, Dancing With The Stars is conspicuously absent from their schedule? Hmmm. Oh well, I’ll ask again when you get back!
Alison, today’s Brisbane “Courier-Mail is reporting Seven as saying DWTS is in “Pre-production mode”, and will likely be returning within ’12 months’. I think that’s TV speak for never to be seen again given the last two seasons ratings were nothing to write home about.
No change from what I reported some weeks ago.
Oh no I Gunnar be bored for a few weeks
Yes,the games just like the old days in Rome of bread & circuses.I wonder what percentage of the population are obsessed by sport!
Enjoy the games and whatever else you choose to do… 🙂
Enjoy your break David and enjoy the sport!
Lets just be thankful you’re not owned by a commercial station or you would’ve gone on hiatus 3 months ago until after Olympics. 🙂
Have a great break with your family , thanks again for all you do for us
Have a good break David, that’s if you actually get a proper break!
Have a great break, David. You certainly deserve it.
