Westworld: full trailer

HBO has released a menacing full trailer for Westworld, coming to Showcase.

HBO has released a menacing full trailer for Westworld based on Michael Crichton’s 1973 film of the same name, which starred Yul Brynner.

The new series is created by Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy and stars Anthony Hopkins, Ed Harris, Evan Rachel Wood, James Marsden, Thandie Newton, Jeffrey Wright, Sidse Babett Knudsen, Rodrigo Santoro, Shannon Woodward, Steven Ogg, Ingrid Bolsø Berdal, Ben Barnes, Jimmi Simpson, Clifton Collins Jr., Simon Quarterman, Angela Sarafyan, and Tessa Thompson.

Its premiere in Australia will be simulcast with the USA, 12pm AEDT Monday October 3rd on Showcase.

  1. I remember the movie, it certainly heightened my interest in robotics as I’m sure it did many others. The trailer looks really good and I’m definitely looking forward to it. I wonder if they’ll do a spin off down the track and remake Futureworld too

  2. Viewed it with the sound on, it looks from the sound and look of it it is similar to Second Life. This show should be interesting will no doubt raise and answer some poignant questions and therefore b very entertaining.

  3. The promo looks good. Some great acting in this one. I havent seenthe movie or anything else associated with this but it seems to be a concept that blurs worlds. Old and New
