Adam Hills is all decked out for his latest season of The Last Leg, during the Paralympics, but alas it won’t be screening in Australia.
ABC advised the problem surrounds Olympics rights, which Seven holds in Australia.
“Open Mike (Production company) are unable to clear it for international sale so; it’s not available to us (or anyone else in Australia) unfortunately,” an ABC spokesperson told TV Tonight.

Channel 4 have started uploading highlights from each night’s show to YouTube. They don’t appear to be geoblocked (yet!).
Same YouTube account as the one used in the clip on this page.
Thanks for explaining. Was hoping to see it. Not happy.
I appreciate your finding this out. Not happy news though.
When will they learn this is 2016 and people have other options? Like getting on a plane and flying to the UK to watch it.
Well that sucks. Can it air after the games are finished?
I was wondering how they would resolve this – you’d think C7 would want to show it as part of the broadcast. I’ll just have to move my pc to Cornwall as well …
Isn’t it being shown on 7Two? They obviously aren’t too concerned about ratings for the Paralympics. Seems more of a token move to make them look like they give a damn.
Harsh. A token move would be highlights here and there, but it’s taking over the channel for 10 days.
Wonder how they managed to screen it last time? No biggie, I’ll just temporarily move my computer to the UK. I hear Cornwall is nice this time of year…
ABC had Paralympics rights last time round. I guess a deal was easier to strike.
Perhaps Seven didn’t want it (or at least not at the asking price)
