Madam Secretary returns for a third season on TEN early next month.

The show moves to a 9:30pm timeslot from Wednesday, 12th October. No word if Elizabeth McCord plans to run for the top office but I would tip a season finale where she decides to throw her hat in the ring.

It returns in the US early next week.

Following the untimely passing of U.S Ambassador to Algeria, Elizabeth McCord (Téa Leoni) must use her noted political skills to cautiously redirect the Algerian government towards a peaceful change in its ranks.

But while in Algeria, Elizabeth’s family encounter an unexpected surprise when an online security breach sees Jason’s computer hacked. Is one of Elizabeth’s enemies threatening her family?

With Elizabeth busy working on the peace negotiations, husband Henry (Tim Daly) becomes entangled in a campaign to save religious artifacts in Algeria.

Returning to guest star is Madam Secretary’s Executive Producer, Morgan Freeman, who will reprise his role as Chief Justice Wilbourne.

Madam Secretary also stars Željko Ivanek (Russel Jackson), Bebe Neuwirth (Nadine Tolliver), Geoffrey Arend (Matt Mahoney), Patina Miller (Daisy Grant), Erich Bergen (Blake Moran), Wallis Currie-Wood (Stevie McCord), Kathrine Herzer (Alison McCord) and Evan Roe (Jason McCord).

  1. It’s good the series is starting for regular commercial TV viewers but in our household we are up to MSY113 Chains of Command, nine eps left, then another 22 for S2, we’ll probably finish those by the time the DVD is released. It’s wonderful not having to worry those unreliable commercial tv channels

  2. Great……..now just waiting for new eps of NCIS. I have a bad feeling that ten are going to hold them over till next year like they did this year. Won’t be happy if they do that.
