No surprises here, NBC is in discussions to revive Will & Grace following that flawless election-themed reunion.

Eric McCormack, Debra Messing, Megan Mullally and Sean Hayes are reportedly in talks for a 10-episode limited series revival.

No deals are in place with the four key stars or with creators David Kohan and Max Mutchnick.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, insiders caution it’s extremely early in the talks, and it’s unclear if a revival could actually happen.

Eric McCormack recently said, “As for the future, everyone — from Max and David on down — is so protective of the show and how we ended it.

“We’re very proud of the series finale and the story that told of the break that friendships sometimes take. So to play with that and change that story and change our own stories in life, I’m sure we would all be open to talking about it.”

It’s unclear if NBC would air the revival or get outbid by another player such as Netflix.

    1. I’m with you. I’d join! I watched it, but there was something about it that I didn’t warm too. The lack of likabilility of the guy who played Will was part of it.

  1. I don’t know how they’d make a return plausable given the finale. If it ended at 20 years in the future, we are I think at eleven years now. Unless they mark now as the 20 year mark and go from there, that might work.

  2. yes! yes! yes! please make it happen. will and grace was always my #1 show and still is. i miss the show terribly and would love for it to come back even for a short run of episodes. they don’t need to explain how they got from 20 years in the future in the finale to modern day if the show returns. people will just accept it.
