Georgia chooses Lee (and social media isn’t happy again)
It's like deja-vu as aggrieved TV fans want a different fairytale ending.

Georgia Love has chosen Lee Elliott in the finale of The Bachelorette, leaving a heartbroken Matty Johnson as the series runner-up.
The series finale, filmed in Singapore, saw Georgia Love, 28, reunited with her father Chris and sister Katie, with two final dates before the final decision.
But she later told 30 year old Johnson she had fallen for someone else. Once again social media reacted badly to the final decision, echoing Bachelor Richie’s unpopular choice of Alex Nation over Nikki Gogan.
Georgia expressed her true affections to the 35 year old plumber from Melbourne.
“From the very first night . . . there was that indescribable something that I just wanted to explore”,” she told Lee.
“I’ve fallen so madly in love with you, I love you so much.”
Despite the fairytale candle-lit ending for Georgia and Lee, he has since told Fairfax Media that producers down-played his connection with the former WIN News presenter or it would have been obvious it was “a one-horse race.”
“They really downplayed me,” Elliott said. “Yes it hurts, but the only person it matters to is (Georgia), she knows it, and she was there to hear it.
“But I understand it, I get it.”
Aggrieved Team Matty fans are already consoling him on social media and gunning for him as the 2017 Bachelor.
