The cast of Last Tango in Halifax have been busy filming a Christmas special.
Sarah Lancashire, Anne Reid, Derek Jacobi, and Nicola Walker all return for the two-part special written by Sally Wainwright.
Set two years after Kate’s tragic death, the episodes will see Caroline (Sarah Lancashire) coming to terms with yet more changes in her life. With a new job at a very different school, a new family home in Huddersfield and a chance encounter with a potential love interest, could things be looking up for her and her children?
“It’s brilliant to be back filming Last Tango in Halifax again and to be back with everyone,” said Sarah Lancashire. “This Christmas special is a very eventful one and it will be great to see how everyone’s lives have changed over the past two years.”
A fourth season was confirmed in 2015.
There’s no word as yet on an Australian broadcast as yet.

Would be nice if we could see it around Christmas time. I was a late comer to this show, but absolutely love it, such a warm & cosy show.
Oh good….I do not mind when it happens…I do not feel the need for instant …fast tracking..nice to know it is in the pipeline.
