SBS tipped for drama on African community

TV Tonight hears whispers SBS is set to announce a new drama set in the African community in Melbourne.

The project will combine law and cultural insights when it forms part of the broadcaster’s 2017 slate, and comes from one of the country’s leading drama producers.

Deep Water, the last drama project from SBS, aired last month, to critical acclaim.

SBS is the last of the broadcasters to reveal its Upfronts, in Sydney next Tuesday.
