LA radio fires Susan Olsen after homophobic rant

"We will not tolerate hateful speech by anyone" radio station says after Brady Bunch star lets fly.

Former Brady Bunch star Susan Olsen has been fired from hosting an L.A. radio show “Two Chicks Talkin’ Politics” over a homophobic rant she sent over Facebook.

Olsen reportedly used the slur “f****t” repeatedly to openly gay actor Leon Acord-Whiting, after he accused her of spreading “outrageous information” and being “dangerous and unprofessional.”

Olsen, 55, has publicly supported Donald Trump, but Acord-Whiting took a different view. After the abusive comments received, he published them and the station ultimately fired its host.

“LA Talk Radio takes pride in its close and collaborative relationship with the LGBT community…” the station said in a statement posted to Facebook. “We will not tolerate hateful speech by anyone associated with our radio station and have severed our ties with a host that veered off the direction in which we are going.”

  1. The thing is she is not anti-gay at all. I think her comment was a personal attack on an individual she had a problem with. It was not a general attack on anyone’s sexual orientation. She loved Robert Reed like a second father and was greatly saddened that he had to hide in the closet all those years. She felt that the misery he went through in hiding his real self killed him off early.
