Airdate: Brit Awards 2017

Robbie Williams will be awarded with the Brits Icon award, at UK pop awards coming to UKTV.

The BRIT Awards, at London’s O2 Arena, will screen on UKTV later this month.

Dermot O’Leary and The Voice UK host Emma Willis will host, replacing Michael Buble.

The show will feature a host of live performances from artists including Little Mix, Emeli Sandé and The 1975.

The nominees, announced on Saturday, January 14, include Australian singer songwriter Sia, who is in the running for International Female Artist, and Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds, shortlisted for International Group.

The late David Bowie could win a posthumous award, either in the British Male Solo Artist category, or for MasterCard British Album of the Year best album with Blackstar.

Craig David, Kano, Michael Kiwanuka and Skepta are also nominated for British Male Solo Artist, while British Female Solo Artist sees competition between Anonhni, Ellie Goulding, Emeli Sande, Lianne La Havas and Nao.

Rag N Bone Man has been announced as winner of the Critic’s Choice award, while Robbie Williams will be awarded with the Brits Icon award.

Thursday, 23rd February from 8.30pm on UKTV.
