ELEVEN broadcasts the 25th anniversary of Tropfest this Saturday from its new home in Parramatta.
Hosting are Entertainment Reporter, Angela Bishop, on the “black carpet” before teaming up with The Loop‘s Scott Tweedie and Olivia Phyland for the official presentation.
Viewers will enjoy previews from the 16 entertaining and creative finalists’ short films before the esteemed jury, led by talented Australian actress, Rose Byrne, begins the difficult task of selecting the winner for 2017.
In the lead-up to the world’s largest film festival and its milestone celebration, tenplay will exclusively present past Tropfest winners’ films for viewers to enjoy.
Widely regarded as a launch pad for up-and-coming filmmakers, each year Tropfest delivers an impressive selection of fresh and innovative films covering every genre, from the honest, thought-provoking and confronting, to the heart-warming and the downright ridiculous.
