“Too many sub-brands” admits Foxtel exec

Foxtel Go, Foxtel Play, Anytime, On Demand ....who can keep up with it all?

Foxtel Go, Foxtel Play, Anytime, On Demand ….who can keep up with the differences Foxtel has been its streaming, Live, and device platforms?

Foxtel’s Executive Director of TV Brian Walsh admits the company has a branding problem with its various products.

“It’s on our agenda to clean up all the branding. I think it’s very intuitive of you to pick that. There are far too many sub-brands,” he recently told TV Tonight.

“People don’t know the difference between Foxtel Go, Foxtel Play, Anytime, On Demand. Even from a technology perspective our remote controls have different things on them.

“So we need to do a complete product clean-up, if you will.”

Yes please!

  1. I think that the problem is that the app version costs the same as when you have a step top box.

Even all the packages are the same price- maybe they should have a look at that & reconfigure those.
People should be able to choose what they want to watch.
