Actor William Fichtner to lead Top Gear America

Actor and racing enthusiast William Fichtner (Prison Break) is heading up a new version of Top Gear America (previously known as Top Gear USA) for BBC America.

He will be joined world champion drag racer Antron Brown, and British car journalist Tom “Wookie” Ford.

Top Gear USA previously aired in the US on the History channel, ending a six-season run in 2016.

The new 8 part series will match its British original reviewing state-of-the-art vehicles, reflect on America’s motoring past, and feature a different celebrity at the new Top Gear studio and track, Speed Vegas.
