Sometime back in the 80’s Kerry Packer promised Bill Lawry a car. Well today he got it. @camjwilliams reports. #9News pic.twitter.com/GA8qpWbVfC

Points to Hugh Marks for handing the keys to a brand new Toyota to sports veteran Bill Lawry.
The Nine CEO was making good on a promise made by Kerry Packer in the 1980s, something others such as David Gyngell and Eddie McGuire didn’t manage to do.
But did he also get a prized Nine car park?
Willoughby’s top car park is legendary at Nine, as denoted by two swanky Lexus cars side by side in prime positions just metres from the front door. Bill Lawry may have had over 40 years at Nine but it isn’t clear if that’s enough to bump one of the newer execs from their parking place.
An underground car park in Nine’s next home in a North Sydney skyscraper won’t be quite the same….

Just hope two of these Toorak Tractors don’t try to park next to each other in the TCN9 car park. Bit squeezy (1.06 & 1.58).
Good on ya Bill 🙂
