Dawn French hosts new UK series Little Big Shots
No prize and no eliminations. Just Dawn French mixing it with 3-13 year olds.

The inimitable Dawn French has a new UK series Little Big Shots, featuring talented 3 to 13 year olds showing off their pint-sized skills.
Unlike similar shows, there is no prize and no eliminations. But it does include kids from ‘around the world.’
The centrepiece of the ITV programme is a large revolving stage. Â On one side is a sofa for Dawn and the kids; and on the other is the all-important performance space.
No Australian broadcaster has yet been announced. Nor any local format.

Oh my goodness, this is exactly the sort of show we need in Australia. So nice to see a show just celebrating talent without judgement.
I love that this isn’t a competition show. There’s too much competition in reality shows, and I get that provides tension and stakes, but I like contestants, kids especially, just getting to showcase their talents.
David, I think you will find this is an American format. The first season aired on NBC last year with the second season starting March 5th. Their version is hosted by Steve Harvey.
That’s fine I haven’t suggested otherwise. I don’t think much interest in writing up Steve Harvey news. Dawn is much loved here.
She wasn’t in the Coles advertising campaign of a few years ago.
Nosed Dive Big Time.
I reckon seven have bought this. I saw an ad on seven casting the other day asking for kids with talent to apply….this must be it.
