Comedian Nazeem Hussain was eliminated from I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here last night, leaving Casey Donovan, Dane Swan and Natalie Bassingthwaighte in the running to be crowned King or Queen of the Jungle tonight.
It was an emotional penultimate episode last night as the four remaining contestants were re-united with loved ones in South Africa -always a series highlight.
It was impossible not to be moved by Natalie Bassingthwaighte being surprised by her children and husband at camp, with family members then participating in a Tucker Trial and group dinner.
But it proved to be the end for Nazeem Hussain, as the 11th celebrity eliminated from the show.
Of the remaining contestants, Casey Donovan is widely considered the front runner to take out the 2017 title, meaning either Dane Swan or Nat Bass will be eliminated earlier in tonight’s finale.
Despite Donovan’s reluctance to follow through with some Tucker Trials, she could well be the first Queen of the Jungle the show has seen.

I’m hoping Casey wins. Even though she hasn’t participated in all the challenges she really seems to have had an uplifting effect in the team as a whole. I don’t recall a bad word against her at all from the others. She always seems to be positive, happy, funny… and that amazing voice… whatever happens I really hope her music career is revived as a result of this.
And that about sums it up….!

But do agree with @karebear and David that Casey has been the heart and soul of the camp, despite not being up to a couple of the challenges.
Would have preferred Steve and Nazeem to be the last two standing but now they’re gone, really hope it’s Casey. She will be thrilled and a humble winner.
