Season 6 of Veep kicks off in a month’s time on Showcase.
It begins with a double episode premiere Wednesdays from April 26 at 8.30pm on Showcase.
This will be 10 days after its US return.
The sixth season of the acclaimed comedy that takes a sharp, satirical look at the insular world of politics, following the day-to-day existence of the former VP and one-time President Selina Meyer. Season 6 picks up one year after the events of Season 5, in which Selina ultimately lost a Senate vote to resolve the Electoral College tie. Now out of public office for the first time in years, Selina seeks to secure her legacy and find her place in the world, while much of her staff pursues endeavours of their own.

Veeps premiere is a single episode in the US, so from week 2 onwards we will be only 2 days behind the US.
10 days late when other titles are broadcast same day and time with a prime time replay. I don’t get it! Bates Motel should also have an earlier day time run then evening replay.
Even worse, they indicated it was fast-tracked. It isn’t.
