The Living Room: Mar 24

Look who's back on The Living Room this week.

Dr. Chris Brown is back on The Living Room this week, learning about hurling in Dublin …..as opposed to hurling after a Tucker Trial in South Africa.

Wow House with Barry Du Bois
With house and land prices in Australia’s capital cities making the dream of owning property less and less likely, Barry has found a fascinating alternative where less is more. The Tiny House Company are making movable tiny homes with just 18 square meters of internal floor space. Barry visits the family living in a tiny house that is built on a trailer to get all the tips on fitting everything you need in a small space.

Travel with Dr Chris Brown
Dr Chris Brown returns to The Living Room couch after hosting I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! and heads to Ireland to do a story on the secretive, unique language of the Irish. He learns a word that is so unique it cannot be translated into English – craic. To find out what it means, Chris takes to the streets of Dublin and finds craic in the strangest of places, including their traditional ball game. Will he uncover this mystery of the ages?

Food with Miguel Maestre
With so many people being time poor, there is a big resurgence on ways to pre-prepare meals to save time and money. Miguel meets up with two home cooks who have turned their love of cooking into a successful business delivering dinners to time poor families across the city. The Dinner Ladies, who started their business in a backyard shed now delivery thousands of meals a week and the key to their success is the freezer.

Quickie with James Treble
James goes tribal and transforms two pieces of dressed timber into three funky arrows. Mounted on a wall, these arrows are the perfect accessory for the entrance to a home or the ideal decoration to add to a bedroom wall. Partnered with a bit of greenery, a nice candle and some books, it creates the perfect stylish set up for any spare space around the house.

7:30pm Friday on TEN.

  1. Um, wasn’t St Patrick’s day last Friday night ? Strange having Chris Brown in Dublin after he’s been in Africa for so long…Perhaps a South African story would have been more appropriate for his first show back.
