  1. Watched MCA tonight and was so disappointed. There was no Angry Angry man or bitching contestants. And most disappointing of all – there was no Josh calling female contestants the S word. We are living in Trump times folks. We want to see more nasty people on TV. MCA once again was just way too nice and inspirational. Shame on you Channel 10 for screening such rubbish.

  2. I think TEN should have waited until July for the launch of MasterChef. MKR has just finished and there is a risk of viewers suffering genre fatigue.

  3. I’d really like to see more women in the guest judge or mentor position on the show. The diverse cast is always great to see for sure. I know Kylie Kwong usually makes an appearance as well as Anna and Maggie Beer but with the three guys as judges and Shannon as the main mentor I’d like to see more female chefs/guests there. Still it’s a great show, so well produced and one we love to watch as a family that focuses on amazing food and the people who create it.

  4. Yay! Predicted it though….looking forward to it. Thanks for the update David. From memory the same three shows went head to head last year? Or maybe the year before….can’t keep track. Let’s hope MCA wins in the ratings. A very deserving show, despite TBL mishap they have had some success this year (e.g. IACGMOOG and GB).
