  1. I Enjoyed Seven Types of Ambiguity last night, immensely. The best Aussie drama on free to air TV this year so far. Has got me hooked.
In response to Sully’s post, remember that ratings of free to air programs are dropping as viewing trends change. It is also Easter holiday time and many people have gone away for Easter/ School holidays. Those Footy Show ratings don’t look too shabby compared to everything else that was on. I think The Footy Show was 2nd in it’s slot behind the brilliant drama, Enjoyed Seven Types of Ambiguity, on the ABC.

    • Good point.

Also, a rare scenario, Nine had an easy win in main channel.

But with Seven’s combined multi-channel share, it came alone & gobbled Nine up overall.

You don’t see shares like 6% for 7mate often, last night due to a huge share and audience in Perth (AFL game).

      • Are you an afl ambassador sully? You are relentless with your afl references. It gets tiresome. The dynamics of tv ratings extend beyond football codes and football code wars which quite frankly are childish and boring imho. .

  2. David, I hate to post on Good Friday and understand if you don’t reply for a while 🙂

But those ratings for the (up until this year) always dominant AFL Footy Show, now look to have dropped to a new low? Did it even win its slot?

Also, any word on the Thuraday night AFL game (West Coast vs. Sydney) on Fox Footy? Also simulcast on 7mate in Sydney & Perth?

    • Sully all these questions on ratings is stretching what I can offer. I don’t mind answering the odd question but it isn’t an open invitation for an individualised service. If you want to see if it a show is a new low, the data is archived and avail for you to spend the time to hunt… because that’s all I would be doing to answer your question. I’ve always tried to offer a self-service site. I post ratings over public hols and weekends as an extra service but info is limited. The alternative is I publish none and we all wait until business days resume.
