Auditions: SBS business show

If you have a business idea you want to make a reality SBS wants to hear from you.

SBS is casting for an unnamed new show described as a “business experiment.”

“If you have struggled to gain or sustain employment but have a business idea you want to make a reality, then we want to hear from you,” says a casting notice.

Successful applicants will be given a crash course in business by one of the country’s most prolific business leaders. They will also have a chance to make their own business idea become reality.

Applicants must be available to take part in filming for around 8 weeks from August to October 2017.

Applicants must be 18 years and over and have some type of business idea you would like to see come to life.

However applicants must be Sydney based / commutable or be prepared to relocate to Sydney.

  1. I actually think SBS is doing the most innovating job of programming out there. First Contact, Chefs Line and there coverage of Eurovision was all brilliant – am interest to see this format too – have high hopes.

  2. How about this for a business show idea ? Take one public funded broadcaster that is struggling to fulfil its charter.
    It relies on filling its schedule with British train shows and anything with the word ” Hitler ” in it.
    Oh , it also commissions a show about people dating undressed ( some are multicultural – we’re all good, right ?). The show flops.
    Also commssions expensive Masterchef-style cooking show to run stripped at 6PM, but few people watch.
    Now, can we actually try and turn this business around ? And where are all our taxpayer funded millions going ?
