Returning: Line of Duty

Season 4 of UK police series hits 13th Street in June.

Fans awaiting new episodes of Line of Duty will be getting Season 4 on 13th Street in June.

This screened in the UK in March.

As previously noted Season 3 is on ABC on June 16.

Thandie Newton stars as DCI Roz Huntley, AC-12’s most devious opponent yet, in the new season of Jed Mercurio’s critically acclaimed police corruption drama. In a career-defining case, Roz is under intense pressure from her superiors to apprehend a serial murderer after months of fruitless investigation. When another young woman is abducted, Roz is on the scene to track down and charge a 24-year-old man. But doubts around the young man’s guilt lead the chief forensic investigator to AC-12.

8:30pm Wednesday June 28 on 13th Street.

  1. The best cop show or maybe even drama show from Britain. Series 4 just finished in the UK was a ratings sensation and critical smash. Series 3 was stunning as well. It’s not cosy, dull and slow like Midsummer Murders or Broadchurch but really well written and acted and just grabs you by the scruff of the neck without sacrificing characterisation or plot plausibility.

  2. An absolute belter. Do Not Miss.
For those without pay TV, earlier seasons have been shown later on ABC so it’s likely to turn up on FTA eventually.
