Returning: Prison Break

The Prison Break revival will begin in two week's time on TEN.

TEN has now confirmed Prison Break will begin in two week’s time.

The series revival, which started last month in the US, will screen Monday nights from May 15.

It returned to 3.8m viewers and mixed reviews.

Prison Break returns with a new event series, as the original stars reunite to break out one of their own.

It has been seven years since Michael broke his brother Lincoln out of prison for a murder he did not commit. With Michael presumed dead ever since the escape, it comes as a shock when Lincoln learns that his brother could still be alive and embarks upon a treacherous quest to find him.

Lincoln’s investigation leads him to one of the hardest prisons in the world, in the centre of war-torn Yemen. Trading his United States passport in exchange for his brother’s whereabouts, Lincoln is risking it all. But with hitmen chasing him and Michael’s widow back in the US, Lincoln better act quickly.

9:30pm Monday May 15 on TEN.

  1. Even though there are some amazing shows these days, Prison Break still is the better show than Game of Thrones or anything else I’ve seen on TV.

  2. Looking forward to it and having a date from Ten will prevent me from going elsewhere (as I haven’t really had time so far) – but yes I agree hardcore fans will have already done so.

  3. It seems that Pacific Heat will only have its premiere screened on TEN (why?!) at 9:30pm Monday May 8th, with new episodes airing on Eleven from Wednesdays at 9:30pm from May 10th.

  4. bit like the x-files revival, 10 didn’t fasttrack that either, It is obviously 10 can’t afford to fast track shows anymore, and in the end viewers will watch them anyway, via “other means”.

    1. Apparently they were waiting to see the reception Stateside incase it was terrible and bombed and planned to sell the screening rights to Foxtel if it did so. Rather than risk putting someone on that didn’t rate or was received poorly. I read that somewhere.
