Seven winning streak continues

Ratings: Nine won primary channel share, but multichannels pushed Seven past the winning post.

Seven has won its 17th straight survey this year, with another win in an Origin week.

It was a close finish, with Seven falling past the winning post thanks to its multichannel performance. Nine won in primary channel share and the demos. Whether that shifts in Consolidated viewing remains to be seen.

State of Origin easily topped the week with 2.38m viewers.

  1. Good win by the Nine primary channel this week. And they will be pleased to have won all the demos. That’s what the advertisers want to see – a strong performance where their dollars go.

    1. Paul I agree with James.

      Nine lost the week.

Network (overall) shares have been the ‘industry standard’ for many years now, you can’t just ignore/exclude multi-channels, of which (for example) made up over 10% both Friday and Saturday of Seven’s night!

Networks will talk main channel, etc. when they haven’t won overall 😉
