Un plus Une – Monday 10 July 8.30pm
The spontaneity and challenges of love are two of the things that make Un plus Une by Clause Lelouch such a satisfying romantic comedy to watch. It’s got two great leads: Antoine (Jean Dujardin) and Anna (Elsa Zylberstein) with undeniable chemistry; it’s got the forbidden romance; and its got the infusion of culture that no one really expected with our French lovers falling for each other in the busy and bustling streets of India.

Valley of Love – Tuesday 11 July 8.30pm
Valley of Love, contrary to its happy titular undertones is a captivating and eye-opening story of a separated couple (played by Gerard Depardieu and Isabelle Huppert) who are brought back together and instructed to travel to five destinations at Death Valley in a letter penned by their deceased son. Not all is doom and gloom however, as the melancholy atmosphere of his death is broken up with lighthearted and comedic situations which forces our estranged couple to reconnect and rediscover one another. Having won a César Award for Best Cinematography, you can be rest assured that this is a film worth watching.

Eternity – Wednesday 12 July 8.30pm
Some little girls dream of to growing up, getting married, hainge children and living happily ever after. This might change over the years due to a myriad of reasons but many have started off wanting these things. Eternity is a tale that spans across two generations of female characters in this historical drama that shows how women deal with the intricacies of marriage, motherhood and individuality. Eternity offers audiences a rare glimpse into the often shied away upon personal struggles of the women who give us all life.

One Wild Moment – Thursday 13 July 8.30pm
One Wild Moment is a comedy drama about two divorced fathers who take their daughters on a holiday – and things go awry when one of them sleeps with the other’s daughter

Blue Is The Warmest Colour – Friday 14 July 8.30pm
Youth, identity and sexuality are all things that everyone has spent countless hours reflecting on. Blue is the Warmest Colour is a romantic drama that highlights the ups and downs of youth as the characters are trying to understand and accept themselves and their sexuality. The film is a visual masterpiece using colour, close ups and symbolism to show the growth of lead characters Adèle (Adèle Exarchopoulos) and Emma (Léa Seydoux) as they navigate through their relationship together and grow as individuals. The film broke records and stereotypes the world over, receiving critical acclaim and becoming the recipient of the highest honour at the 2013 Cannes Film Festival.
