Airdate: Siesta Key

A new US reality show Siesta Key is coming to MTV, filmed on a ‘barrier island’ in south-west Florida.

From the producers of Laguna Beach the series follows a group of young friends considered the “Siesta Key elite” as they confront issues of love, heartbreak, betrayal, race, class, and looming adulthood, all while trying to enjoy the most epic summer of their lives.

According to MTV the series is shot cinematically, without typical reality show confessional moments, allowing viewers to be fully immersed in its drama.

9:30pm Monday September 4 on MTV.
