Former Home and Away and All Saints actor Martin Lynes faced serious charges in Gosford court.

Former Home and Away and All Saints actor Martin Lynes appeared in Gosford District Court yesterday accused of assaulting and raping a woman known to him on three separate occasions between May 2015 and February 2016 at a home in Bateau Bay.

Lynes, who played Luke Forlano in All Saints and villain Adam Sharpe in Home and Away, was charged in March with one count of having sexual intercourse without consent, one count of assault with act of indecency, three counts of common assault and four counts of assault occasioning actual bodily harm.

Yesterday he pleaded not guilty to the charges.

Crown prosecutor Rebeka Court detailed an alleged physical assault including the use of a sex toy.
On February 29, 2016, Lynes allegedly became violent after the woman had left work early one day because she was sick. The woman was treated for injuries later that night at Gosford Hospital.

Lynes has been working as a real estate agent on the New South Wales Central Coast.

The trial continues.
