Former Home and Away and X Factor star Johnny Ruffo is to undergo treatment for brain cancer just weeks after undergoing dramatic brain surgery.

Last week he posted images of a post-surgery scar across his forehead. On social media yesterday the 29 year old wrote the results were not positive.

“So I have the news. It was a bit of a shock and I’ve got an interesting journey ahead and a bit of a battle,” he wrote.

“I am starting aggressive treatment for the next few months to fight the diagnosis of brain cancer. Please stay positive for me and I’ll try to update you guys on my progress.”

  1. Gee when I read that he had the op I just thought they fixed him but now to read what he has to go through is horrible.
