Returning: Garden Gurus

WA-produced gardening series returns for its 15th season on Nine.

The Garden Gurus returns to Nine today, as Trevor Cochrane showcases local community gardens and schools with spring gardening tips.

This started as a local WA-only series, but has now evolved into a nationally broadcast series of more than 500 episodes, produced in WA by Guru Productions..

The Garden Gurus have visited some amazing gardens and covered many gardening subjects, and even though it’s been 15 years of producing the show, there is still much more to come,” said Cochrane.

“Gardening in a dry climate is a challenge for most Australians, and coming from WA we were always best placed to be the source of this advice. As the program expanded from WA, and later South Australia, we couldn’t keep up with the demand for down-to-earth gardening advice.

“Gardens present 20 per cent of the average home’s value these days, so improving your backyard can really add to your worth.”

Episode One:
The Gurus are back with bountiful advice for spring gardening, Melissa King invites you to create a strawberry tower, and Trevor Cochrane checks out the latest gadgets to make watering easier.

4pm today on Nine.
