Seven snares 21st ratings win

Ratings: Seven is now unbeatable in weeks won for 2017, while TEN slips behind ABC.

Seven has now won 21 weeks of the 40 weeks ratings year, which is a enough to claim the year according to previous language used by recent Nine News press releases.

So far there is no such boasting from the Seven camp, which prefers to claim a year based on network share at year’s end. It only won last week thanks to its multichannels -Nine actually led in primary network share and demos.

For the record Nine has 3 weeks under its belt.

Meanwhile TEN slipped behind the ABC which it hasn’t done in months. It should be noted, of course, that ABC has one extra channel to draw upon.

  1. Have to agree with Sully on this it is an impressive result for 7 even if they have weak shows at times, they must also be doing something right to be able to win most weeks so far this year, and if they do have weak shows and still win then what must other channels have?
