The Feed speaks to Tom Cruise

Marc Fennell sits down with Tom Cruise for his only in-depth one-on-one Australian media interview for American Made.

Tomorrow night The Feed’s Marc Fennell sits down with Tom Cruise for his only in-depth one-on-one Australian media interview for new film American Made.

In a wide-ranging conversation, one of Hollywood’s most recognisable faces gets personal about his big breaks, early career and childhood.

Cruise opens up on some of his most celebrated and iconic films, including revealing new details of his Golden Globe-winning performance in Magnolia, and explains why his acting process is so distinct from other actors. He also tells how a haircut on his first big screen starring role nearly got him fired.

Cruise explains why he and director Doug Liman camped out in the South American jungles for their latest film together, American Made, based on the outrageous real life story of a hustling American pilot who is recruited by the CIA to run one of the biggest covert operations in US history.

Wednesday night, 16 August at 7.30pm on SBS VICELAND.
