Updated: Third season of hip hop music drama is coming to FOX8.

US music series Empire is joining FOX8 from next week at Season 3.

This suggests TEN may have on-sold the series after halting the same season after a handful of episodes. It may have window rights later if that’s the case but unlikely to be anytime soon. TEN previously advised the show would return later this year….

Hakeem is left at the altar, Lucious and Anika are married and Anika and Rhonda fight on the roof, until someone falls. Meanwhile, Lucious pursues his music legacy with his streaming service, while clashing with his half-brother, Tariq, who is leading a federal task force investigating him.

Update:

FOX8 will play first 9 episodes, with second block pending FTA plans.

8:30pm Saturday October 7 on FOX8.

  1. Hi David. Just an update on Empire. I’ve noticed next month Fox 8 are screening S3, Ep10, Sound & Fury which didn’t screen on Channel 11. I’m hoping Foxtel will pick up American Horror Story Cult too as this has already screened in America.

  2. Damn you 10. I am so sick of this happening. Hopefully they will air it after it’s aired on stupid foxtel. I got excited when I saw that headline & thought it was finally coming back. When are these networks going to get i?. We don’t all have foxtel & get invested in shows only to lose them. So angry about this.

          1. Previous episodes had been uploaded each week until what happened this week. All of a sudden the show just disappeared from TENplay on the app and website.
