Call for entries: Byron Kennedy Award

The AACTA Awards is now calling for recommendations for the Byron Kennedy Award.
The Award celebrates outstanding creative enterprise within the film and television industries. Selected by an appointed jury, the annual award is given to an individual or organisation whose work embodies innovation and the relentless pursuit of excellence. It carries a cash prize of $10,000.
Previous recipients have included Animal Logic, director Jane Campion, Baz Luhrmann and Catherine Martin, filmmaker Ivan Sen, cinematographer Adam Arkapaw and filmmaker Lynette Wallworth.
To submit your recommendation for the Byron Kennedy Award, please provide a copy of your chosen candidate’s filmography, along with a letter detailing the candidate’s achievements and your thoughts on why they should be considered for the Award.
Recommendations must be emailed to the AACTA Awards Manager Ivan Vukusic at [email protected] by 5pm Friday 29 September 2017.
