Critically-acclaimed UK drama Liar will begin on Seven on Monday October 30.
The 6 part drama, starring Joanne Froggatt and Ioan Gruffudd is written by Harry and Jack Williams (The Missing). It has just been renewed for a second season.
Liar debuted in the UK in early September.
Liar tells the story of a night that changes the lives of Laura Nielson (Joanne Froggatt) and Andrew Earlham (Ioan Gruffudd) forever.
Laura, recently out of a relationship, is set up with Andrew Earlham, a handsome widowed surgeon and father of one of her students.
The two enjoy a lovely first date, but the next day, rumors and accusations begin to circulate and the two find themselves entangled in a web of deceit and confusion.
Truth and consequences go hand in hand in this tense and gripping thriller that examines both sides of a relationship and both sides of the truth. Are there really two sides to every story?

David, do you know if this will screen as single eps, or double-ep blocks/shorter run like another ITV series, Little Boy Blue, was recently shown?
I could only answer for week 1. Seven has given me 1 ep to preview, which is as much as I can say with embargo!
Looking forward to this too. Happy to see it’s a short season. As much as I like shows such as L&O SVU and Criminal Minds, sometimes the 23 episodes a season drag on.
I’m looking forward to it.
It reminds me a bit of the anticipation for Revenge in 2012 (although that was plastered throughout the Australian Open).
